DPF CLEANING FOR Ford E-450, F-450, F-550, F-650, F-750

Ford Truck

Starting 2008, Ford began using DPF’s on their diesel trucks. The DPF is responsible for clearing particulate matter from the exhaust system, especially the soot that is emitted by the engine.

As imaginable, a clogged diesel particulate filter would lead to poor performance, poor efficiency, poor fuel economy and cylinder washing.

DPF may become clogged if the regeneration process malfunctions and fails to keep the filter clean.
