Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks Problems
  • A class action suit was filed in 2014 in New Jersey by Q+Food LLC, a Florida company that sells and delivers seafood, accusing Mitsubishi Fuso that it installed defective emissions control systems in some of its diesel-powered trucks.
  • Trucks recalled because of potential water infiltration to the ground wire –this can affect the ABS hydraulic unit connector, resulting in the motor operating continuously.
  • Problems exist in the trucks equipped with BlueTec® technology emission control. Engines have the potential to shutdown or stall. Trucks may require maintenance and suffer downtime and businesses may experience losses due to trucks being out of service.
  • Mitsubishi recalled some trucks as possibly the transmission may not have been cleaned properly during manufacturing, allowing debris to affect the automatic transmission fluid. The recalled models are 2012-2014 FEC52, FEC72, FEC92 and FGB72 trucks.
