Peterbilt Truck Problems
  • 2009 Peterbilts have problems with their DPF systems.
  • Peterbilts equipped with Caterpillar engines may display problems.
  • Recall of 1737 model year 2017-2018 Peterbilt and 587 trucks manufactured between December 2016 and April 2017 because of a faulty Cummins ISX15 engine. The affected engines could have defective fuel pumps that can cause the drive gear to spin loose on the drive shaft, resulting in the loss of fuel pump’s functionality, thus increasing the risk of crash.
